The Bianconeri Appoint Previous Italian National Team Boss Luciano Spalletti

The Serie A powerhouse have chosen previous Azzurri boss the veteran manager to lead the team for the remainder of the campaign.

The 66-year-old steps in for his predecessor, who was dismissed following the loss to Lazio last weekend.

Tudor had joined the club in March filling the shoes of Thiago Motta but left after seven months after an eight-game winless streak.

Spalletti led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, which missed out on the 2022 World Cup during Roberto Mancini's tenure.

He secured their spot in Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.

However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, with the Azzurri at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.

Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.

Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday which left them seventh in Serie A - six points adrift of Napoli at the top after nine rounds.

Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, having lost once and drawn twice in their opening three matches.
